Use The 12 Minute Trainer®
12-Pack as the backbone of your General Orientation
The 12 Pack has most mandatory in-service
topics already developed, complete with a 12 topic DVD and
Trainer CD including test, sign-in sheet and poster for each
topic. The Abuse and Neglect, Confidentiality-HIPAA and
Resident Rights can be presented by a Social Worker, while the
Infection Control and Basic Ergonomics can be presented by
nursing or another staff member. The in-service format
will remain consistent regardless of the presenter.

Stand Up Meetings
The 12 Minute Trainer® is useful in meeting
the in-service requirements of your facility management team.
It is time conscious and complete. Just present a 12
minute video at your next stand up meeting and complete the test
as a team. Your management team will like the idea of
completing the in-services together.

In-service make-ups
The 12 Minute Trainer®
is great as a "make-up" session. Ask the staff member to
view the 12 minute video and take the test after addressing any
questions. It is that simple.

Recognize Monthly Events
Offer the HIV and AIDS in-service in December
in recognition of World AIDS day.
September is National Food Safety month.
Invoke staff awareness with the Food-Borne Illness Prevention
in-service in September.
